Be a Light for the World ~Luke 11:33-36~
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a secret place or under a bowl, but on a lampstand so the people who come in can see. Your eye is a light for the body. When your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But when your eyes are evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. So be careful not to let the light in you become darkness. If your whole body is full of light, and none of it is dark, then you will shine bright, as when a lamp shines on you."

This passage is about being the light in the darkness. There is so much evil in this world that it's so dark. We, christians, need to be the example, we need to shine bright in the darkness. It's a really simple passage, straight forward, and short. In order to be the light, we need to get rid of the darkness within our hearts. The evil in our minds, the lust, the temptations, the sin, selfishness, the foolishness, money, and etc. All these things make our lights dull, so in order to shine brighter, we need to ask God to help us get rid of these things so that we may shine brighter in this world. By this, we can show the world who we are...believers!
